Happy 75th Birthday Grandma

Tonight we headed over to my Aunt and Uncle's to celebrate my Grandma's 75th birthday. Here actual birthday isn't until Thursday, but since she is having knee replacement surgery that day we celebrated early.

I didn't realize my Aunt and Uncle had a new foster baby...but she was kind of incredibly cute and I wanted to take her home. Apparently the parents are still in the picture and so it isn't like I could actually do it...but for a girl who doesn't think she could adopt I kind of was in love with her. She was fat...that was the best part. She also was very sweet and wanted Matt to hold her...she kept reaching her arms out to him and that was enough for him to declare he wanted children immediately.

Speaking of that...I am ovulating. I don't know about everyone else but I can feel it. I have been taking the ovulation tests again because we can start trying again this month after a five month hiatus due to vaccinations and Matt's surgery. I wanted to make sure we were trying at the correct time and so I have been testing and testing daily. Yesterday morning I had a negative result...but by last night I could feel the very dull, aching twinge in my right side (always my right) and so even though I am not supposed to, I tested again and sure enough it was positive. So that means I am supposed to ovulate within 12-36 hours from that positive test. I guess the pain is the ovary gearing up to release the egg. So we have been having sex like crazy. I knew the ovulating was coming so we started having sex the day before the positive...and have continued on...and I think we are supposed to have the sex tomorrow too...according to all the fertility websites. We will see.

I guess that is it for tonight.
